On a dark and mysterious night, the Scooby-Doo gang find themselves in an old mansion, where rumors of friendly ghosts circulate around the city. Scooby and Shaggy are very scared, shaking when they hear strange noises coming from upstairs. While Fred, Velma and Daphne explore the house, Scooby and Shaggy end up coming across a group of ghosts who, instead of being scary, are playful and love telling stories about the mansion's past. Together, they discover that the ghosts just want to have fun and that they are actually the guardians of an ancient hidden treasure. With the help of the ghosts, the gang finally solves the mystery and learns that not everything that seems scary is actually dangerous.
