Description
At the top of a sacred mountain, Moses received the tablets of the law, where the 10 Commandments were engraved, principles that would guide the Hebrew people on their journey through the desert. As rays of light illuminated the stones, God's voice echoed, conveying messages of love, respect and justice. Each commandment brought with it a profound teaching, such as honoring parents, not killing and not coveting. Moses descended the mountain with the tablets in hand, determined to share this wisdom with his people, who yearned for direction in times of uncertainty and challenge. Thus, the Commandments became the basis of a new covenant between God and the Israelites.
